Welcome to Live at the Ludlow Garage. A place where music lovers can come and enjoy their favorite national, regional, and local bands in an environment unlike any other in Cincinnati.
The Ludlow Garage has been many things in its almost 100-year history. An automobile repair shop, car dealership, parking garage, local shopping mall, pizzeria. But what it is most famously known for is the music venue it held from 1969 to 1971. In just a few shorts years, music history was made in this building as many famous musicians came to play. Most notable of these - The Allman Brothers Band - with their album "Live at the Ludlow Garage". Every artist and/or band that ever played here is listed on the bronze plaque in the sidewalk in front of the Garage.
It has been our dream since we purchased the building in 2007 to return the music to the Garage. We have had much to do and much to learn, but now we see that dream becoming reality.
Live at the Ludlow Garage is an intimate concert venue. An up-close and personal experience that will feel more like your living room than a concert hall. The farthest seats from the stage? A mere 56 feet! No sound distortion from trying to cover a huge area. You will hear all of the music, and yet, still be able to enjoy the company you came with. Rather than waiting in lines at concessions stands, you will be waited on. We seat 292 people in two separate rooms with comfortable theater-style seating.
Live! at the Ludlow Garage also has a full restaurant upstairs, The Ludlow Garage Bistro. Here, you can join us for dinner before the show, after the show for drinks, or any Tuesday through Saturday from 4-10 p.m.
It is our hope that this environment will enable guests to enjoy the artists in a new, and more personal way; developing an even greater appreciation of the art, talent, and gift they give us through their music.
Looking forward to seeing you at the shows.
Scott and Maria Crawford.
